2013 40 Fully-Funded PhD Research Studentships in Humanities at the University of Exeter, UK

The College of Humanities at the University of Exeter is awarding 40 scholarships to UK/EU students who would like to pursue doctoral program in Archaeology, Art History and Visual Culture, Classics and Ancient History, Digital Humanities, Drama, English Literary Studies, History, Film Studies, Medical Humanities, Modern Languages, Theology and Religion and Other Interdisciplinary Subjects in Humanities. However some positions are available to international students. These scholarships are fully funded and are offered for three years.

Eligibility: Normally students will have a good UK Honours degree (2:1 Honours or international equivalent) and in some cases a Masters degree. If you are seeking funding through one of the Research Councils (UK/EU students only), you will need to hold a minimum 2:1 Honours degree, although often these awards are won by those with 1st Class Honours due to high levels of competition. You will also need to satisfy our English language entry requirements.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The majority of studentships are available to UK/EU students only due to funding restrictions, however some are available to international students.

Number of Awards: The London Film School and the Arts & Humanities Research Council is offering 40 exciting, fully-funded research studentships for 2013.

Duration of Awards: Scholarships are offered for three years.
