UQ Sport Scholarship Ambassador Program in Australia, 2014

Applications are invited for sport scholarship available for athletes who have represented at an open, national or international level in their chosen sport or play in a professional sporting league. This scholarship will be available to study undergraduate and postgraduate programme at University of Queensland. The UQ Sport Scholarship Ambassador Program is valued at $1500 in support services per athlete per year. The application deadline is 31^st October 2014.

Eligibility: Scholarships are open to athletes who:
-have represented at an open, national or international level in their chosen sport; or
-play in a professional sporting league; and
-are enrolled, or intend to enroll, in a University of Queensland program (undergraduate or post-graduate) on a part-time or full-time basis.
-Preference will be given to students who are members of, or intend to join, a UQ Sporting Club.
-Athletes already on another UQ Sporting Scholarship are ineligible to apply.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Australian, New Zealand and international students can apply for this sport scholarship.

Scholarship Description: This program was introduced in 2010 to provide high performance support services to professional and/or elite athletes who are ineligible for the other scholarships on offer.
