Eligibility:
- The following criteria should be taken into account when applying for funding from the Ann Sinclair Charitable Trust:
- Category A â€" Students studying Agriculture, Horticulture, Orcharding and Animal Husbandry.
- Grants will only be given to students living in the PSC area (Wellington, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Taranaki and Wanganui areas).
- Funding is not normally given to Year 9 students attending Wairarapa College.
- The approval of a grant for one year carries no presumption as to the availability of any future grant.
- Tertiary Grants will be payable upon receipt of a letter from the relevant Institution setting out a list of subjects for which the applicant has enrolled and also receipt of confirmation from the Dean of the Faculty or similar senior person at the Institution that the applicant has begun his course.
- Secondary Grants will be paid one quarter per term direct to the relevant Secondary School. Payment for Terms 3 and 4 are conditional on receiving a satisfactory mid-year report.
- A Grant Evaluation Form (provided on approval of grant) must be completed and returned by 31st August of the same year the grant was received.
- Category B â€" Farm Training Institutions .
- Grants will not be given for the purchase of capital items.
- The approval of a grant for one year carries no presumption as to the availability of any future grant.
- Category C â€" Persons or Organizations Establishing and/or Conducting Christian Camps.
- Grants will only be given to Christian youth camping events where participants come from within the PSC area (Wellington, Wairarapa, Manawatu, Taranaki and Wanganui areas).
- Grants will not be given for the purchase of capital items.
- Grants are to be used for the approved purpose only. The approval of a grant for one year carries no presumption as to the availability of any future grant.
- Preference will be given to organizations who intend taking non-churched youth to Parachute Music Festival.
- A maximum subsidy of $50 per person will be paid for all groups attending Parachute Musical Festival.
- Preference is given to organizations who intend subsidising participants to attend a camp rather than providing 100% funding to attendees.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: The Trust document provides for funds to be invested by the Trustee and the income used for:the assistance with their travel to, accommodation and education in any aspects of farming including agriculture, horticulture, orcharding and animal husbandry, both general and specialised, at what the Trustee in its discretion considers to be suitable places and educational institutes (including, but not in any way limiting the discretion of the Trustee, universities, polytechnics, farm training institutes and schools) whether within or without New Zealand.
