2013/14 St Cross College offers Scholarship for Postgraduate Students in Global Health Science at University of Oxford in UK

Eligibility:â€"In order to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
-be of outstanding academic ability;
-have submitted a successful application for the one-year MSc in Global Health Science course to the University of Oxford;
-have made a successful application to St Cross College (as the first choice college) and a provisional place been offered and accepted;
-demonstrate that they have applied, unsuccessfully, for funding elsewhere (e.g. Clarendon Fund, Beit etc.);
-show proof of their ability to meet remaining expenses (i.e. minus the College fee) by the application deadline;
- take up their place in October 2013.

Scholarship Description: St Cross College is pleased to offer a Scholarship in Global Health Science for the academic year 2013-14.The Scholarship has the value of the annual College fee, currently £2532 per annum for 2012-2013, and  is intended to provide financial assistance to an academically meritorious graduate student who has been accepted into both the MSc in Global Health Science programme at the University of Oxford and at St Cross College and who is unable to secure funding elsewhere. The successful scholar will be guaranteed to have a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the first year of their course.

Number of awards offered: One Scholarship is offered.

What does it cover? The Scholarship has the value of the annual College fee, currently £2532 per annum for 2012-2013, and is intended to provide financial assistance to an academically meritorious graduate student.

Other Benefits: The successful scholars will be guaranteed to have a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the first year of their course.

How to Apply: Please write to the Admissions & Academic Secretary at the address , stating your wish to apply along with proof that funding has been denied from other sources. Please note that an application form is not used for this scholarship.

Scholarship Application Deadline:  The deadline for applications is Friday 7th June 2013.
