Eligibility:
All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a regular ESC Member Country or ESC Affiliated National Societies.
-Have completed parts of their cardiology training but before obtaining a âpermanentâ, âsenior staffâor âconsultantâ post
-Are preferably less than 40 years of age at the day of the application deadline
-Are EHRA member (mandatory)

Scholarship Description: EHRA Training Fellowships are offered to give physicians the opportunity to gain specialised training in clinical electrophysiology (EP) in a regular ESC Member Country or ESC Affiliated National Societies, preferably outside their home country. Physicians need to have completed their cardiology training but not yet obtained a consultant or equivalent permanent status.
This training fellowship aims at promoting the development of academic medicine in the field of clinical electrophysiology with emphasis on catheter ablation:
-For physicians with more extensive experience in electrophysiology (EP)Â the one-year Training Fellowship will deal with advanced mapping diagnosis and ablation of complex substrates, amongst other topics.
-For physicians new to clinical electrophysiology (EP)Â the two-year programme is designed to provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of diagnostic EP studies and catheter ablation of simple arrhythmias.

Tenure-Â Advanced (1 year) or Basic (2 years) EHRA Training Fellowship Programmes are offered for 2013.
Value: Fellows will receive a sum of 25,000.00 ⬠per annum for their living expenses.The amount will be paid in two times, i.e. 12,500.00 ⬠at the beginning and 12,500.00 ⬠after 6 months.
