2013 Rosalind Franklin Fellowships at the Faculty of Philosophy in Netherlands

Eligibility:
- The Faculty of Philosophy offers one Rosalind Franklin Fellowship. The fellowship is in the field of political philosophy Requirements:
General
- A PhD degree.
- A well-founded and motivated application with an innovative research plan for the first five years and a challenging outlook for the future which takes into account the international research landscape in political philosophy.
- Demonstrable organizational qualities and communication skills.
- D candidate who is not a native speaker of English must be proficient in English to level C1/C2.
Research
- Exemplary research record, as demonstrated by the doctoral dissertation and by publications in international top journals and/or in peer reviewed books.
- Experience in various working environments preferably in different countries.
- International reputation as testified by contributions to international meetings and collaboration (e.g. joint publications, the organization of academic meetings and/or editorships).
- Successful in the acquisition of funding for research projects â€" Proof of independence and international recognition.
- The candidate should preferably have been involved in the supervision of at least one PhD student.
Teaching
- Teaching experience at various levels is recommended

Scholarship Description: To promote the advancement of talented international researchers at the highest level of the institution, the University of Groningen has initiated the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme. This ambitious programme has been running since 2007, having financed over sixty fellowships thus far.The Rosalind Franklin Fellowship programme is primarily directed at women in industry, academia or research institutes who have a PhD and aim for a career towards full professorship in a European top research university.
