Eligibility:
⢠PhD in Computer Science/Engineering with expertise in evolutionary computation
⢠Outstanding ability in both theoretical analysis and computational studies, related to evolutionary computation
⢠Excellent Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, complex information clearly
⢠Fluency in relevant models, techniques or methods and outstanding ability to contribute to developing new ones
⢠Excellent Ability to assess resource requirements and use resources effectively
⢠Outstanding research achievements, evidenced by publications, PhD thesis or other reviewed/examined materials.

Scholarship Description: To create and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking a range of activities within and related to EPSRC-funded project on âEvolutionary Computation for Dynamic Optimisation in Network Environments. The responsibilities may include some but not all of the responsibilities outlined below. To develop a detailed research plan that implements the EPSRC project, with assistance of the principal investigator if required
-To carry out high-quality research, both theoretical and computational, within the EPSRC project on âEvolutionary Computation for Dynamic Optimisation in Network Environmentsâ
-To contribute to writing further bids for research funding
-To analyse and interpret data from the computational studies
-To apply knowledge in a way which develops new intellectual understanding
-To write and disseminate research findings for publication in leading international journals and conference, research seminars etc .
What it Covers:  Starting salary is normally in the range £27,578 to £35,938, with potential progression once in post to £38,140 a year.
