In addition, all candidates must meet the minimum eligibility for this Award category:
-US citizen resident anywhere except the United Kingdom, and
- hold or expect to receive a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional training or experience) in a relevant area before departure to the UK.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: In the 2013/2014 cycle, one Fulbright-Aberdeen University Award will be offered to pursue a Master’s degree in either Theology and Religious Studies or Health Services at the University of Aberdeen.

What it covers:Fulbright Awards offer generous financial support for one year of study in the UK. Award funding is intended as a contribution toward the first academic year of tuition fees and general maintenance costs whilst in the UK. Grants are paid in instalments directly to the grantee. In this Award category, the grantee will receive a full tuition fee waiver from the University of Aberdeen. In addition, the grantee will receive £12,000 which is intended as a contribution towards general maintenance costs (accommodation, travel, subsistence, etc) while in the UK. Sickness and accident benefits (though typically not needed with access to the NHS), visa guidance and/or sponsorship, and assistance opening a UK bank account are also included.
