Candidates should have a PhD (or be near completion) in a relevant field. A strong research and publication record is required.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The Scholarship is open for Sweden students.

Scholarship Description: We are seeking candidates to conduct research as part of the seed project “Sparsity in Signal Processing and System Identification”, a collaborative effort relating multiple research groups within ACCESS, including Automatic Control, Signal Processing and Communication Theory, which involves the multi-disciplinary tasks of understanding and exploiting sparsity-enforcing techniques in areas such as: Computer science Statistics Signal processing Information theory Automatic control The candidate should have a strong background and experience in sparsity-inducing / compressed sensing techniques within at least one of the areas mentioned above.

Number of Awards: One Scholarship is offered.

Tenure of Awards: The duration of the position is 12 months and may be extended an additional 12 months.

Value: Monthly salary under a contract in the department.
