Ms. Foundation for Women offers one year Ms. Foundation Fellowship to pursue a project in support of the foundationâs ongoing work in USA. This fellowship will be housed in the Ms. Foundationâs newly established Advocacy and Policy department and  is open for early to mid-career individual to pursue a project. Fellowship proposals based on critical issues like child sexual abuse, Economic justice, Reproductive justice, Sexualization of girls are accepted. The fellows should be selected as full time employee and will receive health benefits, professional development, networking, mentoring opportunities and compensation up to $85,000 for one year. Applications should be sent  electronically by no later than February 15, 2013.

Scholarship Description: The Ms. Foundation for Women Fellowship provides the opportunity for dynamic leaders to leverage our resources and support to develop promising strategies to shift policies and cultural conditions that enable inequality to thrive. Recognizing a particular urgency within marginalized communities, we fight for equal pay, reproductive justice, an end to violence and child sexual abuse, and countless other issues that impact women.

Duration of award(s): This one-year fellowship (Sept. 2013 to Aug. 2014).
What does it cover?The Fellow will receive compensation of between $50,000 and $85,000 (depending on project, location and Fellowâs experience) for the one-year term, as well as full health benefits. However, the fellowship does not provide a relocation costs or a stipend for housing or other living expenses.
Selection Criteria: The fellowship jury, which consists of foundation staff as well as external stakeholders and experts in the field, will consider the following: (1) the qualifications of the applicant; (2) the promise and feasibility of the project; and (3) the anticipated work product.
Notification: The finalist chosen will receive notification by June 1, 2013.
