The American Meteorological Society (AMS) offer AMS Minority Scholarships underrepresented especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students in USA. Students must be entering their freshman undergraduate year of college in the fall of 2013 are eligible to apply. The scholarship is provided in atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The duration of scholarship is of two year and amount of scholarship is of $3000 per year. Application form includes high school transcript, one letter of recommendation, and a copy of scores from an SAT or similar national college entrance exam. Send your complete application by 8 February 2013.

Scholarship Description: The AMS/Industry Minority Scholarships will award funding to minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students. Funding for the scholarships is provided by industry and through donations made by members to the AMS 21st Century Campaign.
