Scholarships for Bhutanese

Many universities and colleges provide financial aid in the form of scholarships and awards to students for pursuing higher studies. To pursue advance education is the dream of all of us but due to lack of money only a few of us can attain and experience it. Scholarships are boon for the students who are financially challenged. Our site‘scholarship-positions.com’ has brought detailed information about these various available scholarships. On this page, we have arranged scholarships which are related to the students of Bhutan. The Royal University of Bhutan was the first university in Bhutan which was established to consolidate the management of tertiary education in Bhutan. Being a decentralized university with 10 constituent colleges it spread across the kingdom. Further it also maintains a strong connection with other foreign universities like the University of Salzburg in Austria, the School for International Training in the United States, the University of Delhi in India, the University of New Brunswick (UNB) in Canada and so on.  These provide student exchange and internship programs for both students and faculty. Now most Bhutanese students have received technical training abroad e.g. the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany), New Zealand, the United States, Australia, Singapore, Britain, Japan and India and mostly students returned to their homeland. Among these countries English-speaking countries attracted the majority of Bhutanese students. The most significant factor which influenced the development of a university system was the government preference for equitable development and financial assistance which are provided by the majority of universities. The list below assists you in searching and finding the various available scholarships.
